Our purpose and mission is to reach out to inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs in greater Kansas City, and to empower this all-important group with the knowledge and skills necessary for success. The Mid-America Inventors Association hosts monthly meetings in the Kansas City area. All of our meetings are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. We do not require dues from meeting attendees. Each meeting features a keynote speaker who will address a topic of interest. For example, speakers address the ways to effectively and efficiently protect inventions, ways for obtaining funding for product or business development, and ways to develop and hone a business or marketing plan.
Each meeting also affords the opportunity for inventors, entrepreneurs, and innovators to meet with others having similar interests and experiences. The lessons learned from the success (or, heaven forbid, the failures) of others are frequently an invaluable tool.
